Open call for disabled performers and performers who are Sign Language users – come and perform on the terrace of the Musiikkitalo!
The Summer Concerts, which have become very popular at the Musiikkitalo, are an integral part of the Helsinki summer. On the terrace of the Musiikkitalo, one can spend an early summer evening enjoying live music and relaxing in the sunshine.
We are now looking for performers who are disabled and or who are Sign Language users for the 2023 Summer Concerts at Musiikkitalo concert series. The concerts are a co-production of Culture for All’s project Making space for artistry and the Summer Concerts at the Musiikkitalo production. Our aim is to offer an opportunity to perform for artistically interesting newcomers in the field of music.
The possible dates of the concert are Friday 9th June or Saturday 17th June. We are looking for performers regardless of musical genre. We are also interested in cross disciplinary performances. The main focus is on performances with 1–3, maximum 4 performers.
The compensation is paid according to the minimum remuneration of the Musicians’ Association. The terrace has a sound system, and Musiikkitalo’s sound technician is available.
