The Cultural Association Finland’s Eucrea is looking for a project coordinator for the project Making space for artistry
The position is temporary. The work will start during February or on March 1st 2023 at the latest, depending on agreement. The work ends on 14th February 2024. The position is filled part-time (50%). The work is mostly remote, it may include evening and weekend work. The position is subject to a one-month trial period.
The Making space for artistry -project is funded by the Kone Foundation and carried out by Culture for All in the years 2022-2024. The aim is to strengthen the professional opportunities and equity of disabled artists and artists who are Sign Language users in the field of art. The Cultural Association Finland’s Eucrea is the main partner in the project.
The work includes organizing artist meetings and workshops. The aim of the meetings and workshops is to create space for peer support and growing in the artist’s profession. In addition, the project coordinator’s work includes project development, communication, and tasks related to Eucrea’s funding applications and event production. We offer the person selected for the position an exciting and challenging job with the opportunity to create and develop new ideas.
The position requires appropriate education and/or work experience, good knowledge of art and culture, understanding of the artist’s profession, knowledge of the disability field and good networks. Personal experience of disability is considered an advantage. The position requires good cooperation and interaction skills, the ability to take initiative and work systematically and independently, and experience in communication. The work is done using the employees own computer and phone. The applicant is required to have good Finnish language skills. Knowledge of other languages is considered an advantage.
