Welcome to Coaching: Bringing Your Dream as an Artist to Life
Are you a disabled person or someone who uses sign language? Do you engage in some form of art? This coaching package is tailored for individuals who dream of writing, painting, making music, participating in theater, or engaging in any other form of art professionally, but have hesitated to pursue their dream of being an artist until now.
You may aspire to transition from pursuing art as a hobby to practicing it professionally, yet you have not taken the leap. Perhaps you have felt inadequate, lacking the necessary education or skills. You may be unsure about how to present your art or entertainment to the public. What would be the next step, and how can you muster the courage to take it?
In this one-on-one coaching program, we will meet eight times, once a week, either in Helsinki Arabia or online. Our sessions will commence in mid-March, and we will arrange a suitable time for you (please note that weekend sessions are not available). Throughout the coaching process:
- You will receive tools to bolster your self-confidence and celebrate your successes.
- Together, we will identify the next concrete step toward realizing your dream as an artist.
- You will learn how to dismantle your limiting beliefs and move past them.
- We will craft a success roadmap tailored to your needs, outlining the skills and resources required to manifest your dream of being an artist.
Please note that this coaching program does not include evaluation of your artistic work, nor will feedback be provided by the coach.
Your coach, Riikka Hänninen, is the project coordinator of the Making Space for Artistry project. Trained in transformational coaching, she is eager to share her expertise with you.
This coaching opportunity is provided free of charge, offered by the Making Space for Artistry project, supported by the Kone Foundation.
We can take in five disabled individuals or persons who use sign language, provided they are committed to the coaching process and dedicated to realizing their dream as an artist. Therefore, we kindly request that you carefully complete the application questions.
Applications must be submitted no later than March 10th. However, please be aware that applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so we advise not to delay your submission.
When applying, please include the following information:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Details of the art or entertainment you have previously engaged in.
- Your aspirations for future artistic endeavors.
- On a scale of 1 to 10, indicate your readiness to work toward realizing your dream as an artist (1 = Not ready to take action, 10 = Fully committed to pursuing my dream).
- Can you commit to attending eight coaching sessions, held weekly from mid-March to mid-May?
- Feel free to share any additional information you deem important.
To apply, email your responses to Riikka Hänninen at riikka@tilaataiteilijuuteen.fi or call Riikka at 050-3080 232 to provide your answers over the phone.
