Workshop for artists: How to apply grants? 21.1.2023
Time: Saturday 21.1. from 12:00 to 16:00
Place: Zoom
Illustration: Hanna Väätäinen.
A warm welcome to our workshop aimed at artists! In the workshop, you will get guidance, ideas and sparring for making grant applications. Where to apply for a grant? How to make a working plan? How to stand out from the large crowd of applicants and convey your merits and ideas to the reviewer in the best possible way? What kind of information do art funders want? And how to make a budget and what attachments do I need?
We will go through example applications and fill out the application form for the The Finnish Cultural Foundation’s January application. You can already check out the application form on the website of the Finnish Cultural Foundation. If you like, you can bring your own unfinished or finished working plan and/or budget and get feedback by discussing together.
The workshop is aimed at disabled artists and artists who are Sign Language users, but all artists are welcome. You don’t have to have applied for a grant yet, and beginners can also participate in the workshop. Artists of all art fields are welcome.
